The Garden of Lights will once again invite visitors to the magical world of a wonderful, cultic fairy tale in the Budapest Füvészkert for the 2025/26 season. The theme of this year's special light and multimedia exhibition is the story of the eternal child Peter Pan. In the more than 250-year-old Füvészkert, the fairy tale comes to life: the picturesque setting is populated by creatures of wonder. Alongside the legendary Peter, there will be children who have dropped in from London to Neverland, Tinker Bell and the fairies, the Chief and the Indians, the dreaded Captain Hook and many more of the most appealing and popular fairytale characters.

Resurrecting classic old tales is an important mission of the Garden of Lights. We believe that fairy tales, and through them the development of literacy and the opening up of the world of imagination, have a profound impact on children's development. All you have to do is dust off an old book, maybe borrow it from the library, read it to the little ones, read it with the older ones, and then head to the Garden of Lights in the Autumn and Winter, where children and adults alike can experience the wonders of Neverland. It's also a great leisure activity for London fans, as the story of the fairy tale is the story of the construction of Big Ben and Tower Bridge, among other things.

The light and multimedia exhibition covers the entire area of the botanical garden, like an intimate village bathed in twinkling lights, which we are delighted to say has become a tradition in the lives of Hungarian families in recent years. We will do our best to make this trip unforgettable for them again this year! We are preparing wonderful new fairy-tale scenes never seen before in Hungary, and monumental, detailed light and lampion installations, multimedia elements and catchy sound effects.

To make it even easier for children born into the digital world to connect, the experience will be accompanied by an app game called Gamification. During a walk through the exhibition, children and parents can play together, following questions related to the installations in the mobile app to reach the exit, where they will receive a gift if they successfully complete the game. So the wonder of the Garden of Lights not only develops imagination and creativity, but also motivation and a fun time together as a family! The Peter Pan Light and Multimedia Exhibition will open on 17 October 2025 and will be open until 15 February.

Mozart was insatiably in love with life. He embraced everything considered “sinful”: wine, cards, billiards. And his passion extended to musical ornaments: flowery acciaccaturas, trills, cadences others dared not risk, and chromatic runs.

A világsiker most Budapestre érkezik! Gyerekeknek álomszép kaland, felnőtteknek mélyen megérintő történet – közös családi élmény, amire még évek múlva emlékeztek!
