The story of Hansel and Gretel is both about growing up and about taking responsibility and standing up for ourselves and our loved ones. The story encourages children to set off on their own explorations, even in the realms of their own imagination. In fairy tales, all difficulties can be overcome—not only the real ones, but also the dangers created by an overly anxious imagination.

I have long wanted to find my way in the maze of self-knowledge, or at least to find meaning for my actions and reactions... because these are automatic answers ingrained in us from long ago. Over generations, we reconstruct these ingrained patterns, reliving them over and over again, with only slight changes...

Two deceptively similar suitcases end up in the wrong hands. That is how the characters embark on an adventurous journey full of complications, misunderstandings, and comic situations, where no one is quite who they seem to be. In the confusion, the threads become fatally tangled.

A történet nélküli darab a zene erejével ragadja magával a közönséget, a Gangaray Experimental Music hipnozikus dallamai pedig megelevenednek a táncművészek lenyűgöző mozdulataiban. A női energia által vezérelt koreográfia a Gangaray védjegyévé vált lendülettel és eleganciával repíti a nézőket egy különleges élménybe.

A Pulcinella című táncszínházi előadás a commedia dell’arte hagyományaira épít, mely a műfaj mozgásvilágát táncszínházi eszközökkel ötvözi, így a gesztusok és a fizikai kifejezésmód még hangsúlyosabbá válik.

Elmondható ez a táncos testéről is, amelyre a művész élettapasztalatainak gazdagodása kifejezetten jótékony hatás bír: növeli metamorfikus képességét, életenergiáit felerősíti, koncentráltabbá és kifejezőbbé teszi. Eltűnnek belőle a felesleges mozdulatok, sallangmentessé válik, különleges esztétikai értékre tesz szert. A táncban önmagára találó test az élet elevenségnek reprezentánsa, annak sűrű és tömény koncentrátuma.

The aim of FrenÁk’s Nostalg_Y is not to reminisce about a specific age group or to make the audience cry, but to engage the audience in an intellectual and emotional game of association, where no one knows exactly who will become what, but where imagination can help everyone create a story that fits their expectations. Through randomly colliding, interconnected fragments, we gain insight into what human relations are hidden in the interactions between different generations: for example, between two young individuals who carry their older selves within them and two older characters who carry the consequences of the decisions made by their younger selves.

The Yellow Rose is Mór Jókai\'s 1892 novel about the Hungarian Puszta, in which he details the natural world and the customs of the Hortobágy region with the fastidiousness of an ethnologist. In the dance performance, choreographer and director Árpád Könczei worked with the Maros Ensemble to present the dramatic story of this novel inspired by the peasant world.

The inspiring influence of the exciting, ever-popular South American musical rhythms and their non-traditional use has long been present in Tamás Topolánszky’s choreographic approach. This new production uses original melodies and Hungarian-language works by Hungarian composers, with an exciting combination of music written for the production.
